Our philosophy is to ensure our customers receive sound advice and quick efficient service. You may be a competitive rider or just like riding for recreation and fun. Our customers range from beginners to avid riders to pros. We stock, year round, a vast inventory from all the top brands in the bicycle industry. We’ll help make cycling an enjoyable experience for you and your whole family. Our trained staff will always be there for your questions or concerns.

History

The Bikes has been serving Edmonton for 33 years (25 at our current location), all the way back from 1981. Remember the old overstocked crowded store on the corner of 5 & 10?

We are now located in the heart of the city at 10333 112 St NW Edmonton, just a few minutes west of Square One Shopping Center and along side the Bikes store. It’s a larger shop with even more bikes and bikeware!

We have now evolved to The BIke Store as a way of better marketing ourselves online. Although we legally are still Bikestore our new name and logo differentiates us from other Bikes locations. We still have a good relationship with the other shops but we do not share bike service, gift cards and advertising. Our head office closed in 1996 so we have been independent for many years and have exceeded any standards we set during the years. So whether you hit www.bikes.com or www.bikes.ca, it’s the same shop. We will in the future open up shops bearing our new name so that we can service our customers in and around the GTA.
